Panda 100HP + Elise S

My little collection. The daily run around (Panda 100HP) and the weekend toy (Elise S).
The Panda has been a revelation. Cheap to run and a blast on most types of road, the wide stance helps with twisty stuff and a quick lift off transfers the weight nicely to the back pushing the tail round beautifully. I can confirm that it is woeful at speed bumps, this can be addressed by going slowly. Exploring new suspension and/or dampers for the rear to see if I can reduce this somewhat, any recommendations?
For a little car the spec is fantastic, all I seem to be lacking is somewhere to plug my iPhone - any recommendations for a cost effective way to add in an AUX socket?
Always had a soft spot for the Elise. This is my second. When you just want to head out for a blast few things are quite as pure as a Lotus Elise, simple, effective and very enjoyable. Running costs on the S have been next to nothing, aside from a service at the excellent Phoenix Motorsport it has been cost free motoring. Plan on getting a new exhaust for it before long, currently exploring the options.
First Elise was a 111R which I loved, however when it came to replacing it I decided I did not wish to spend my time chasing the second cam and the simple pleasure of a free rev range sold me, it also feels to have a bit more torque which is helpful. Its quick enough and can go round corners at unfathomable speeds which all meet my requirements perfectly.
If/when the speed bug kicks in I shall be looking for a 2007/2008 Elise SC.

- I do take the roof off the Elise more often than not, on these days the roof just happened to be on.

I ran a 100HP for 3 years and loved it. I had the official Fiat iPod connector and it was very good. Connected up to the steering wheel buttons and could scroll through songs/playlists. I only got about £20 for it on eBay after I sold the car, so I'd keep my eye out for one if I were you.TheJimi said:

Great choice of cars, I ran a black 100HP for 2 1/2 years and it was great. Managed a couple of trackdays and despite what you might think it was great fun - even if the straights were tedious.
I had mine from new and rather than risk the warranty with aftermarket stuff I stuck with the original shocks, which as you say meant going slowly over speedbumps every time.

The 100 hp is a it bouncy, ill be having both rear shocks changed next week under warranty. Hopefully it'll be better.
