Hi Guys, I am going on my 1st trackday next week, I have fairly minimal tread left on my tyres and was thinking, finish them off on the track and then get them replaced. is that a good idea or would you prefer to put fresh rubber on before the day? it's only Goodwood so I'll prob be waiting around in the padock half the day anyway haha.

I would have said use the old ones and hope it's wet! Otherwise you might be driving home on illegal tyres, haha.

This. Do keep an eye on them so you are legal for the drive home though. It might help to swap the tyres front to back to equalise the wear.
