Just bought the above and will need to use it in winter . Back wheels are 285 - 30 I think, so wondered if anyone has had experience of putting tyres, or new rims and tyres on these cars?
The summer tyres may well be 285, but the recommended winter size is 265/35 for the rear and 225/40 for the front. I used Pirelli Sotozero on my old 996 C2 and they seemed to work well.
I use standard 17" wheels with 255/40 rear and 205/50 front. Wheels were only £300 (genuine, used) and tyres are cheaper and more suitable for winter conditions.
