My 1.4SS Roadsport (limited edition version) has been laid up for the past 4 yrs due to ever expanding family. It needs a little TLC to get back on the road (all of which I planned to do this year).

Finally admitting defeat that I have no time to get her sorted, so need some professional help.

I'm looking for an independent specialist that can help with a few cosmetic tidy-up's, a mechanical service & MOT.

Appreciate any recommendations folks may have.

P.S. The wife and I have a weekend planned for 14/15th Sep, so aiming for it to be ready for then (and to re-join the west kent caterham fraternity thereafter)

thx!

Redline in Caterham is a good bet as is Automotive Engineering in Uckfield. Neither very far from West Kent depending upon whether you are NW or SW.

if its non Caterham specific knowledge, but rather knowledge of individual cars then there's an independant garage over in the Rochester area that i use for my Tiger kit car. Family business and 2 of the family have 'kits' amongst other boys toys......so can cater for pretty much anything from an mot/service through electrics, engine transplants and into welding ete etc.....
Snodhurst Garage snodhurst road - Dick or Jamie would be teh 1st points of contact....

Give Rob at Boss Racing a call.

He's an Ex-Caterham factory mechanic and does a sterling job.

Thanks Kenno78.

Just had a good chat with Rob and he's arranging for the car to be picked up tomorrow morning.

Thanks for the other posts. Rob happened to be the closest to where we are.

Agreed. He black/red stripe one taken at the isle of Skye is my fav.

Car was picked up yesterday, so now dreading the phone call next week with the list of things wrong with it.

On the plus side I'm very excited about getting back in th driving seat and reading folks posts on this forum reminds me how friendly / enthusiastic cater ham drivers are.

Rob has eye for detail so you know that you will be getting a good overview of whats needed to be done.

I have been in touch with an intercom supplier about potential discounts for Caterham/kit owners. Not sure what's allowable on PH in terms of mentioning specific sites etc.....so not wanting to infringe any rules.....feel free to drop me a mail and will gladly advise who/what......
possible to get 20% discount......
