Hi Peeps...Well i have been as patient as i could possibly be but being without delilah again is just too much to bear..She went off last tuesday..She has had the rad moved forward..A 17" 2 stage turbo boost fan fitted and an overide switch put in..The correct plugs for the blower..New HT leads...And more importantly the air-box and the intake pipe and intake manifold have been opened up to 3" instead of the reduced 57mm which was concluded to be restricting the amount of air that is available for compression by the charger thus giving low boost and pony torque figures..Hopefully i will get her back tomorrow but they have yet to dyno and tune her...If she doesnt make any more boost then i will be totally gutted..And so will my wallet!.....Ziga

I am suffering from torture at the minute too mate, my escort sold today so I will have an empty garage as of tomorrow but I cant have my wedge until after the bank holiday because I am in cornwall for the week, then all I need to do is tax it and drive it

Weeks have been passing by and still not fitted power steering pump, been on holiday, got back, then hurt my back, self employed time off again.
52 today and counting down the years when I can draw me pension and get me bus pass.

Hi Phil...Its not as easy as that im affraid...By changing the pulley size you make the supercharger spin faster than it was designed for which in some cases is not a good idea as the bearings can fail quicker..I know the S102 was made to have around 15psi full boost but i needed to open up the pipe size as it was strangling the air intake which was restricting the amount of boost available..If i had changed the pulley without doing this first then it would of made no difference to the amount of boost..It would just struggle more...Hopefully i should have the 3psi that was missing added to the 5psi..= 8psi...Cheers...Ziga

Still no news...How long should it take to make a piece of bloody pipe?...Thing was they never said it would take this long and if i had known then i could of got the other bits done somewhere else and left the pipework until they were not so busy!.
How long would you say for this, Bearing in mind i supplied all of the parts apart from the pipework.

1. Moving a radiator forward 1" and fitting a fan.
2. Changing a set of plugs and fitting new leads.
3. Fitting a distributor.
4. Making a piece of pipe and modifying the airbox and the inlet housing on the blower.

They have had it nearly two weeks FFS!...Ziga

2 days is a bit long imho. I'd say a couple of hours for 1,2 and 3. Depends on the mods for 4, but I wouldn't have thought any longer than 6hours giving them an 8 hour day on it. plus tea breaks and chin scratching of course

Hi Peeps..Well i just spoke to them and expressed my reservations..They are closer to finishing but the reason for taking so long was to keep the cost down by doing it when they had a spare moment rather than charging me hourly rates so i guess i cant argue with that, It would of been better if they have advised me in the begining of how they were intending to do it and i would of not stressed out so much.
My life is a bit poo at the moment and i know we all get this but "I cant get no relief"..Just like jimi sung...At the moment Delilah is my world and once i discover how to turn her into a woman then i will be sorted forever.

Well...When i called them at around 4pm and sighted the riot act...Read them the complete Magna carta and divulged a handy little phamplet explaining.. "How to dispose of pigs trotters...In bulk" in a well pished off souf london gansta accent i thought i heard him say he wanted to "borra sumfing"..I said.."You wot"..He said.."It should be ready tomorrow"...So i politely thanked him with a curtious.."Ta"...

Hi Peeps...Got Delilah back at last and she does feel much better, The fan is keeping her cool and she sounds great..She is up to around 213bhp and 207.30ft/lb of torque and apparently their dyno reads 20bhp less than what it would read on a different machine..What a relief to get her back...Cheers...Ziga
