Hi folks - looking to get a Vbox HD with OLED but which one ? The kit is new but the OLED is the same as far as I can tell

I will be fitting in an Atom but thought you guys would be a better source of info as so many of you use the kit in your racers - is the black one adequately waterproof to install on top of the dash ? Have there been a lot of failures due to water ingress ?

I don't see very many of the blue billet versions on track which makes me think that for most people (even in open cars) it's possible to get away with the black plastic

Thoughts ?

This is as wet as it gets!

As you can see the OLED is exposed and survived without any issues at all, although I did put a poly bag over it to be sure. It looks pretty watertight - the only bit that might let water in is where the cable goes in.

I have thought about a data logging system, to replace my VIO POV HD camera system,,as it would be nice to see the speeds and data.

But my gosh are they pricy or what?

If you go for a HD version with a few options it quickly gets to almost £2000 - wow!

I am quite interested in a race keeper system, we saw them at one of the Jonathan Palmer days.

The green version seems to be available for less than a grand too?

Any one else seen these, and what was your opinion?

Yep it's a £2k package but there are other options - AiM kit is about half the cost
