How loud is your beep?

I know the volume of the PDC / reversing sensors on a 996 can't be changed, but mine seem unusually quiet.
Is this a common thing?
I don't think I'm going deaf and it can't just be that I'm struggling to hear it above the exhaust noise as 996ts aren't loud.....
Anyone else had the same issue?
