Parking tickets..

If i park in a 2hr max stay bay outside my work and get a parking ticket for running out of time on my ticket, how long do i have before i have to move my car? can i just stay until the end of the day and go home, 20 quid lighter, or can they tow me within a specific time?

Depends on the LA involved. They have the power to remove and if they have a removal vehicle then they will now have it stood idle. So.........could be at this very minute someone is putting the ignition key in his motor to start up.....

well this is what i don't understand - it says max stay is 2 hrs and i don't know if i can just stick another 2 hrs in the meter and not move the car..

its glasgow city council by the way!

Generaly you aren't allowed to "feed the meter" to extend you stay in a car park.
