Wheel Refurb

I'm looking at getting all 4 wheels refurb'd on my Cayman to bring the car up to top notch (well as near as, being 4 years old).
Do i stay oem colour or go different ? nothing to dark as the car is Basalt Black. options please. any photo's would be great

also, would changing colour affect the resale value? any opinions welcome

Had options when I had mine done but stuck with standard and glad I did for a whole host of reasons, including resale.

How would I know I would really like the new colour; how would I match it if needed in the future; if a wheel broke I would just need to buy a standard wheel as a replacement and not also have to have it re sprayed.

Just have them re-done when you come to sell it.

I went a different way with my wheels...chrome powder coat, not everyone's taste but I like them.

I think it was around £370.

The price for powder coating varies a lot and so does the standard of work by the way and make sure they are coating the full wheel inside and out, also ask to see wheels just completed not what's on display.

I used Chris at Exel recently for a set of HRE's I recently purchased and was so impressed with the finished job & customer service I let home do my OE wheels too which I should be getting back this week.

Well, at the very least you've got the option of Black or Silver for an OEM look (depending on which wheels you have).

Black not for me, as my car is basalt black. Silver is just silver, was thinking something slightly darker, like the dark silver on the rear badge.. here's my car, what you think going a shade or two dark??

I think with those wheels keep them silver. I think you need Sport Designs, or Carrera Sports to play with colours - just my opinion of course!
