To some degree old news - Porsche have been one of the most profitable car manufactures for a while now.

Does it cost a lot more the manufacture say a 991 against a BMW 520D - errrr, no.

It's quite something isn't it? A 911 most likely costs about the same as a Boxster to make, yet for no other reason than branding and image, they're able to sell the 911 for twice as much. A great business to be in! Good luck to 'em....
