I thought this was a great film. Not sure why, as it wouldn't normally be my cup of tea.

Great use of Orbital - Belfast when they are driving back from the house party. May have had that on in similar situations back in the day too.

Pretty much summed up my weekends back in the early to mid 90's.
Not a bad take on the whole drug club culture IMO.

Brings back memories of having a smoke on the Sunday after a heavy night of chemicals.20 or so blokes and girls in a house, cops knock on the door, loads of paranoid people ramming the patio doors open and jumping over the back fence, was fking funny to watch them. Cops were only asking if the home owner was around last night as there was a disturbance in the street.... Not us we were out in Leicester at Die Hard....

Back open by the looks of it. http://www.diehard-club.com/

Utter gash.

Ben Simms was really annoying. I was hoping for him to pop a pill and drop dead/OD.

Saying that I was LMAO when Danny Dyer was caught having a tug!

That's the director I think, one of the guys at the counter, Justin Kerrigan was it?

Memory is not as good as it used to be mainly due to similar weekends 😄😄

A fave film of mine. I can't claim Human Traffic is the pinnacle of movie making but when it came out I could relate to many parts of it.

st job, live for the weekend. Go clubbing, take stimulants, stay up all weekend, have a bad comedown.
Repeat again next month.

Just finished watching it for the first time in years. It made me feel quite old. It's a decent feel good film, and here are my favourite quotes from it:

The bass lines were so deep, they could feel the vibrations in Jamaica.

This sort of st would turm Harry Krishna into a bad boy.

Life in the bus lane.

Reach for the lasers....Safe as fk.

Just hit up Orbital - Belfast on youtube, and had a right old moment to myself.

Then had another very different one when I realised just how long ago all that was.

When did I get so old? So mortgaged? So depended on?

Ah well. Happy days, happy memories.

Good film - one of my favourite UK films. As I'm waaaayyyy too old to have been into that atrocious rave scene, it was a good primer as to what was going on (and another guide as to where the yoof have gone off the rails). Or not.

Now Quadrophenia - that's more like it (sensible well dressed young men visiting the seaside - although map reading skills not their strongpoint viz the eclamation 'Brighton!' while actually looking at Eastbourne).

Back on topic. The 'Muff' character was especially good. ItchyTriggerFingerNiggaz are probably still touring.

FFS now I am going to have to d/l it again as my copy is in the UK..

I can feel a private party coming on tonight smile

"The weekend has landed. All that exists now is clubs, drugs, pubs and parties. I've got 48 hours off from the world, man. I'm gonna blow steam out my head like a screaming kettle, I'm gonna talk cod st to strangers all night, I'm gonna lose the plot on the dancefloor. The free radicals inside me are freakin', man! Tonight I'm Jip Travolta, I'm Peter Popper, I'm going to never-never land with my chosen family, man. We're gonna get more spaced out than Neil Armstrong ever did, anything could happen tonight, you know? This could be the best night of my life. I've got 73 quid in my back burner - I'm gonna wax the lot, man! The Milky Bars are on me! Yeah!"

I love Human Traffic, a film that brings back many happy memories.

Also the scene with Moff walking alone down the street coming down like a stone and then tripping over/stumbling when he crosses the road is just superb.

The soundtrack double CD is one of my all time favourite listens.

Disc 2 was mixed by some bloke called Tong and is ACE, really really good. "Push it" by Quake running into the subliminal 5:55 by Durango,

Love the fim too, but the CDs are great.

In fact I bought it/them from a shop in Sydney whilst on my round the world 6 month trip and I used to put it on in all the hostels I stayed in. I can't tell you number of times people came up to me and said, " what the fk is this music and where did you get it from English boy?"

Pass the lasers!

Pussy.

Next week.

Did three nights up before England played I think Spain in Euro96, slept on the floor of a house party whilst the penalty shoot out went on. I kid you not, slept on the floor at the back of the room through the penalties with about 40 people screaming.
