Im doing a friends Wedding photos at the end of the month and considered buying a second Nikon F70 to backup my other one. I've already got a Minolta X700 as backup too. The reason I wanted another F70 was that she wanted B&W and Colour shots - now decided mainly black and white so dont really need the second F70.

Anyway, forgot to cancel Auction Sniper and went out - the result being that ive won the bidding on another F70 body! LOL.

Still, £66.90 isn't a bad price

Nice one MD - they were £280 when I got one 5 years ago: I got about £90 for it a few months back. I actually prefer the grip to the current style, but there you go.

Its a nice camera to use IMHO, really simple once you can see past all the menus etc. A backup Nikon can't be a bad thing I guess, and itll save me manually focussing the Minolta.

Ive got some funky rear curtain sync shots that I should post up actually, ill dig them out!

Probably cost more than that to get one serviced!

Indeed. I used it for the wedding and the shots are great (I did run a film through it previously to test it!) although the auto focus doesnt seem as reliable as my other one - more shots where its focussed on the wrong thing. Just a case of taking more care on my part I think.

A bargain though, nonetheless.
