Myself and Hollowpockets are both racing this weekend, just wondering how many Noble owners fancy coming along. I'm racing in the FunCup series but wife is bring the Noble.
Hollowpockets is racing his Noble, would be great to see a few old and new faces.

I'll prob pop in for a while as I'm only 5 minutes down the road.

Probably Saturday but will do Sunday if that's when most people will be there.

Buggers! That fun cup has pushed everything back!

Looks like I have Qualifying 10am, Race 1 @ 14:20 and 2 @ 18:10 all on Sunday, sounds stressful! Much prefer having it split over the two days.

Guess that means Saturday you won't see the Nob in action so Sunday it is, and I'll have to book Monday off work. Poop

Just got back from our trackday at Brands Indy circuit, testing our funcup car, what a track, very short and no rest bites, but great fun, should suit your Noble well Hollowpockets. They don't like you getting all four wheels off the track though wink

Just been watching some YouTube race vids from brands Indy, looks good if a little on the short side, I should be able to crank out some high speed on that start/finish straight, the first corner looks dangerous being blind and high speed.

Other than the left gander before the last right I can't see anywhere obvious where you'd be putting wheels onto the grass.

Can't imagine doing that for 4 hours! Dizzy!!

First corner is scary and loads end up washing into the gravel due to camber and sudden drop... Be careful on you first few flying laps.... I suspect the corner he isn't getting all wheels off track is the opposite side to start finish straight?

The bend I was "testing" was the left hander after Druids, I think its called Graham Hill bend, marshall said I had all four wheels off, twice but weren't sure which car it was, so I got sin-binned (off the track for 20mins)
There is good grip off line, just don't do it too many times wink

Think spectators can arrive whenever the gates open, so any time after 8:30, somewhere around lunchtime would be the best bet but depends how much racing you fancy seeing,

Here is the timetable for the weekend

I am in my second year of Noble ownership and I am not too far from Brands so I will definitely be up for popping along that Sunday. Since owning the car I am yet to compare notes with another Noble owner so that would be great.

I am actually camping there this weekend for the Lotus Festival to so its Brands all the way this month smile

If you're there on Saturday, look for TWM racing, car 62. Or look out for our Winnabago with stickers all over it, that's us. Pop in and say hello, might even have a coffee on the go. smile

Lads,

I've just had an email...

Dear Graham,

If you need extra tickets for the Brands Hatch meeting we still have one of our hospitality suites available, which comes with 28 tickets.

B17 is on the first floor of the Brabham Stewart Centre and overlooks Paddock Hill bend. The suite is equipped with a refrigerator, a microwave oven, a fan, a full set of crockery/glassware and offers excellent views of the Indy circuit.

It is also equipped with a 42" Plasma TV with a feed to the official timing screens. The plasma can also be used to play presentations from a lap-top or computer games. The suite also has the race commentary 'piped' in and has free Wi-Fi.

The suite is available at a cost of just £395 + VAT. This includes:

• Exclusive use of the suite on the Sunday
• 28 tickets
• Complimentary programmes
• Parking immediately adjacent to the suite

B17 is easily accessible from the paddock/pits and provides an ideal way of entertaining current or potential sponsors, or family and friends.

To book, or for more information, please contact me on 01732 783141 or dominic@brscc.co.uk

Regards,
Dominic
BRSCC

If there are a few people coming along and want to make a family day out of it or a Noble owners meet, I'll happily book this up if there's enough interest.

Show of hands

Graham
