Insurance Renewal a NICE suprise YIPPEE!
Discussion
Just had my renewal through from ClassicLine & my insurance has dropped to £370 from £440 YIPPEE !
Before anyone asks i'm 36 full no claims & have max of 5k miles a year policy can anyone beat that price! I doubt it.
(They are switching my insurer to KGM insurance as Sun Alliance are withdrawing from the specialist market)
Howard.

Interesting. I just renewed my Insurance through Privilege and its the cheapest insurance I've ever had on TVR's. Dropped by around £700 pounds from last year (mind you, my accident claim from just over 3 years ago doesn't need to be declared now).
Wonder if there is a general trend in cheaper insurance for TVR's due to lees claims last year or something like that ....??

Yup, I can! Just. With Direct Line and the policy allows for 10K miles per year but not track days. I've never had to make a claim...ever...so perhaps it's favouritism!!
I have to say those prices all sound really good compared to mine. Is the crux that they are garaged?
I didn't want that tie as I was going to use mine daily. I posted for insurance info on here and the general consensus was that Direct Line, Tesco and Liverpool Victoria were the best. I went with the latter and am paying around £740, 36yrs, full no claims, no convictions etc. Maybe it's my Bristol postcode? Even though I live out in the stix!

I hav ebeen with classic line for 6 years and this year due to RSA pulling out mine has doubled. Been under £500 last two years and this year it went up to over a £1000
they very apologetic but couldnt get it any lower, A shame I have to leave them as they have been very good and helpful in the past including when I crashed in 2003 which didnt effect my premium at all last year in fact it went down £5.
