My Inertia Switch (fuel cut off) warning light is on.
This is the light at the left of the speedo which
looks like an upside down exclamation mark "!".

The fuel pump is running and so is the car.
The fuel pump and filter have recently been changed.

Any ideas.

Try cutting a small piece of black insulation tape and stickingit over the light.......no more problems......Sorry....not really very helpful on this one.....

I think you'll find that's not the fuel cut off warning light, more your brake fluid level or handbrake light.

I think the brake system warning light is a right
way up exclamation mark enclosed in brackets "(!)"
and is red. This light is yellow.

P.S. The inertia switch merely disables the fuel pump and doesn't "light" up any lamps - If you hear the fuel pump running, your Interia Switch is fine.
