I gave up on it!
The scenes just go far too quickly...by the time you've worked out what the aircraft is doing, or whether it's real or a render, it's changed to another angle...twice.
Real shame...I know you aerobatic pilots think at a million miles an hour, but if you could slow it down a bit for us mere mortals that would be great...it could be fantastic!

I liked it. Very good job. I agree that the beginning is way to brain numbing to enjoy and would benefit from all the clips being tripled in length (or quadrupled to still fit into the music time sequence)
But other than that, I enjoyed it. Made me decide to book another flying lesson in fact

Thanks chaps.
I agree about the pace, not my favorite style - it sort of ended up there as I tried to make the CGI less obvious ... which led to the music ... which leads to frantic editing pace.
Here's another that's more chilled

It's all shot in North Norfolk

Much prefer the pace of the second one.
My local paper ran a front page(!) story recently where some miserable buggers complained about someone having too much fun in the skies above us with his Pitts. The following week they ran another feature on the pilot who's a Gulf War veteran using money from his air display fees to support SSAFA.
I think they look great, certainly brightens my day to see someone having fun up there.

Rich is a top chap.
I suffer from "smoke envy". We use the same barrel of oil, and he's made injectors like the ones I have - but his smoke is MILES better than mine.
Bit like the car you once sold that always looks and goes better for its new owner than it did for you I suppose .....
