A few interesting announcements.

The classic mode has really intrigued me. Classic 80's cars, tracks and drivers...

Just fired it up quickly to see how it runs (not on my gaming PC at the moment though) and grabbed a few screenshots.

I'm enjoying it, but may need to knock the diffculty down a peg - No assists, opponents on hardest level. 4 seconds off pole at Melbourne, last on the grid. Max Chilton has serious competition....

I'm gonna wait until I can get a pre-owned copy for about 15. I bought the last two versions on day one and wasn't blown away, especially with last years abortion of a game.

Anyone able to find the Classic Edition for sale anywhere? I've had to give up and order it online: 5-7 days shipping!

Tried it earlier (on PC) - still awful. Still can't move the seat. Still can't turn off speed-sensitive-steering.
Ergh. I really have no idea how it sells so well.

I was on middle difficulty setting and no assists and struggled to make any postions al was pretty brutal at times. So i knocked al difficulty to easy and they seem even faster and harder no were near them now

This might be a silly question...

Can you drive the current cars on the classic circuits?

And can you buy the normal F1 2013, but download the extra classic circuits and cars at a later date?

Does anyone else find they keep running out of fuel in the last lap!! Even with fuel set to "cautious"

Surely you should be able to push through the whole race without slowing to save fuel?

It is also very challenging even set at amateur. In the sauber I can't get near the pace to get into Q3! And struggling to below 10th in race even with a bit of BTTC tax at the start smile

I find the only way to get near to the front 10 is by being very brave in the corners as they eat me for dead on the straight frown

Very good graphics and sound though.

R1 indy, i'm finding it the same with the al i'm also easy level in the sauber but i knock the areo down and get a few on the straights.
The fuel i don't have an issue with, have you put the mix up to rich

Just got this yesterday. Classic mode a nice diversion, but if you choose an early era car, you're entirely outclassed by the later ones.

Then into the Career mode. I play Forza on just about the highest difficulty settings (I have to have ABS on as you can't feel the pedal or lock-ups on a controller) and was World Champion on Colin McRae 2005, so I'm not exactly crap at driving games.

On full easy, in a Williams, I can't get within 4 seconds of the pole time. Qualified 14th. On full easy I would expect to be a second or so ahead of everyone, even in a crap car. What is up with this game?
