I need a comfy saddle for my own bike and also my girlfriends. Any suggestions? Need them to be as comfortable as possible!

Any tips / suggestions?

Wtb Speed V for you and WTB speed she for her. Caveat is that everyone is built different

I'm a massive fan of the classic Flite saddle and more recently the Fizik Arione. The reason is that they fit my assbones perfectly. Both have practically zero padding but support exactly where they should. The best saddle is the one that fits you. I think specialised do a custom fit saddle in their concept stores which might be an option if you can't be faffed to buy and try.

Try a few out - most people hate the Selle Italia SL that I have but it works for me. My wife rides on a Madison Breeze which is more or less a female version of the Charge Spoon which seem to be the go to saddle for many.

Always used the classic selle Italia flite that I had on my old MTB for >10 years, but changed bikes and really didnt get on with the OEM selle Italia X1 (I think). Changed it to a charge spoon after numerous recommendations on here, and did the Way of the Roses over 2 days a few weeks back, having only used the new saddle once. It was absolutely spot on, and for £18 you cannot go wrong

As above you won't find a generic saddle that suits all arse shapes. Specialized do a fitting service if you have a store nearby.

Another vote for Charge Spoon here. Been using one since 2008 I think, and still love it. I have yet to hear of anyone who has tried one and not liked it, but at £20ish, it's worth a gamble!

Good quality shorts really helps, personally love the Fizik Tundra2, but I'm a skinny boney type fella.

I find my Madison Flux really comfortable. It's the same shape and from the same factory as the Charge Spoon mentioned above as well as the Gusset R. Handy if you've got a colour scheme you want to match

I'll get shot down here but I bought a Bell saddle for £8 in Asda for my bike and I find it mega comfy (I've used it on long rides too). Not too squidgy, not too hard.

I'd go for one of these rasther than a Spoon as the stupid raised stitching on the latter can wear your shorts pretty sharpish.
