Breathalyzers, available at Dover EuroStar Terminal ?

I'm heading over to Germany to watch the WRC tomorrow, will be heading down to Luxembourg through France and then across to Trier.
I've neglected (forgotten actually) to purchase the requisite breathalyzer/s. Can these be purchased at the EuroStar terminal at Dover ?

Yes! AA shop has them and Im pretty sure even the newsagent type shop may have them too.

Though it is law to have these breathalysers, the ability to fine has been stopped. (in france) Therefore, if stopped without them, there is no penalty.

I don't bother, and also due to the fact they are a huge waste of time.

You'll normally find them at terminals, on the boat, petrol stations if you do get them.

Just testing Vixpy I did of course mean Portsmouth, errr Southampton, Weymouth ?

On second thoughts, I'll give the one at Folkestone a go . . . . .

Don't buy one. The law is cancelled/changed it is just a recommendation now, they will not stop you and check you on this. They will check the safety vest - for all passengers. One of the reasons it was cancelled is that it turned out that the friend of the minister who introduced the law was the boss of the (only) company in France who manufactured these kits.

With the reputation for the continental plod to be 'picky if they want to be' - just buy a box for £7 and be belt and braces about it.

Its going to be much easier than arguing in Franglais with a disgruntled French copper if they're having a bad day!
