Non alcoholic alternative to red wine
Discussion
I'm a massive fan of red meats accompanied by a really nice (in my opinion) red wine. So much so that if we are having steak/roast/chops etc at home, I don't enjoy it half as much without a nice glass (bottle) of red. Anyhow in a quest to cut the drink a little bit.. Can someone suggest a drink to have this week when we have steak for dinner? Something that accompanys and compliments as much as red wine does.
I forgot to add blueberries..
The dark fruit are now either in season or not far off, so if you have access to countryside, you can go picking.
If nothing else , you can make cordials which will keep.
Elderberries can be added if you're making cordials (they're not good raw..) and benefit from being mixed with blackberries and/or apples.

Buy a half bottle of wine if you must drink a whole bottle.
Cut down not cut out IMO.
There's a good idea. I just don't like opening a whole bottle, drinking a glass of it, and leaving it for later in the week, never tastes as good.. Cut down not cut out IMO.
