Do JLR still give 20% for relatives of employees?

Hi forum- new member.
I have a VW golf gti mark 6 and looking to replace it with a new Range Rover Sport SE due out in January. My cousin works for JLR as a designer. Do JLR still offer the 20% off incentive for employees and family. My cousin doesn't know and won't know till the Range Rover Sport SE comes out. I would need the 20% to be able to get this motor at my set budget otherwise I would have to settle for something less ambitious.

Yes we got it off our discovery 4.

But they will not offer it off new models that have recently been released, such as the ffrr(L405) or the new range rover sport either.

It's quite a complex process now too, as they want to stop people abusing the system.

You will need to provide a lot of documents to support you relationship to the jlr employee.

My cousins are first cousins so that isn't the problem. Do they give less discount on new models or none at all?
If I wanted 20% how long after model is released before I could get one?

When did you get the Discovery 4 as I know a new model is coming out hence why they would give such a discount. Thats my dream specced up LR sport gone....white, with 21inch alloys......lol

May have to settle for an Evoque.

I don't think it extends to cousins. You certainly won't see the new RRS on the scheme either and I think that Evoques are still at 10% discount.

There won't be a new disco before 2016 btw.

I think you'll have to settle for something less ambitious. I reckon it would be probably two years before staff get any kind of discount - at the very least until the order waiting list reduces.
And agree with the post above: not sure that cousins qualify but will check when I'm back in.

Do you work for Land rover? could you find out what discount percentage they do for Evoques? I'll have to settle for something less ambitious, thanks.

Last time I checked a few months ago it was
20% for FL2, Def and old model sport. They had stopped it all together on D4 due to supply but may have started it up again.
10% on Evoque and nothing on new range rover or new sport

Unfortunately it appears that cousins aren't eligible. The chart stops at Nieces and Nephews.

Good news! it appears that i can actually get 20% off the NEW range rover sport. happy days. My mum says my cousin can give us a voucher. Apparently she clearly stated the model i wanted. I'll update when an actually order is placed whenever that may be from now till January.
