With the new owner, will TVR keep up traditions and bring out a new model at M P H 04 or is the Sagaris and the Typhoon all we are going to see?

Has anybody any other knowledge?

Check out the mph website, lists all car models that'll be shown.

TVR:

TVR 350 C
TVR Sagaris
TVR Tamora
TVR Typhon

Not even one Tuscan 2..

Considering a temporary kybosh was put on the Sagaris and Typhon in favour of QC I don't think so, as the interviews so far indicate he will start releasing "his" new models in a few years.

I'd expect the Tuscan 2 and convertible to be shown though, and I'd Tuscan 2 S converible, or Big Al to its friends

Just spoke to someone in the know and they said that at the moment, the only models the factory are manufacturing are T350s and Tamoras. Another 140-50 to go then they'll start on a new model.

Apparently the Tuscan/Tuscan 2 has been dropped.

Also they ARE going into the USA so we can look forward to BIG bumpers... and airbags!!!

Good innit - if you paid a deposit to a builder for £50k's worth of work & then heard nothing for six months you would expect to see a TV crew chasing the guy down the street.

All this speculation must be so depressing for the people who are waiting to hear something from the factory - I wish someone would give people a clue.

Nick

Sorry - back to the thread - see you at MPH

Or timber merchants for that matter Charlotte Hudson could be visiting you really soon

Too true, considering the rumours and long-awaited statement it can't be pleasant, who knows what people who are waiting for their first TVR without exposure to PH or the car club must be thinking

Not sure if I'm supposed to say. Best to say nothing I think.

Sorry, I didn't post this just to do the "I know something you don't know" thing. I just thought the info was important and maybe somebody may have visited the factory and be able to confirm the fact that only t350/tams were being built.

As for the USA thing, we can only sit and wait, I suppose.

Only T350s and Tams were built for a while. The new Tuscans should be rolling off the end of the production line very shortly + press release coming up.

If the Tuscan 2 has been 'dropped' why on earth are they equipping all the dealers with demonstrators?

That particular rumour makes little sense to me...

Rumours are all very well and good when they're based in some realm of reality but do we all realistically expect TVR to issue an update or press statement every time someone 'in the know' spouts off a load of old cobblers? Let's not forget that in the grand scheme of things they're a small, independent car maker with limited resources if they're to run as a viable concern.

Surely TVR resources are better spent improving quality and developing new and existing models than releasing weekly statements denying rumours?
