Hard wearing track tyre and part worn tyres

Hi

Looking for a new set if tyres for track use (but ok to drive to and from track) on MR2 Turbo - probably 17 205/40 to 215/40 front and 225/40 to 255/40 rear.

Not bothered about ultimate grip given - want a set that will last.....heard Federal RSRs are quite good...any other views?

Also any decent part worn sources in north London / Herts.

Just put federal 595 RSRs on the front of my focus RS
Were brilliant at Rockingham the other day
Have to make sure they are warm though

Should get a fair bit of wear out of them although won't be the longest lasting

AD08, I managed 5 trackdays and 10k road miles on one set. In contrast, I've done a pair of nearly new Avons in one day on the rears. There's a big difference between something designed for road and track, and something just for road.
Apparently Pilot SuperSport are excellent too, not available in 17" sizes in the UK though
