I know there was a thread on this recently but I can't find it. Where can I get a sealing cap from for my expansion tank / swirl pot. Is it a standard size that I can obtain from a motor factors/ garage.scratchchin

Expect a LOT of questions as to whether it's the vented cap or not...

Should be easily available from local motorfactors - take the old one and hope they don't read PH or you could be there for a while wink

I bought a standard 15 PSI cap from a factor, but found that most modern ones don't have a rubber seal, and so won't seal properly. Following advice from here cut a ring from an old cycle inner tube and stick on - Job done.
