Kumho tyres on 996 4S

Hi

Has anyone used Kumho tyres on a 996?

They are half the price of Michelins.

Any opinions?

I have used kumhos but not on a Porsche. They are fine but they are not half the price of michelins as they don't last as long.

A friend of mine (also a PHer) seems to swear by Kuhmos for his 355 Spider and has posted on the FMLB forum as such and he gets through quite a lot of tyres On track he thinks overall grip is superior and they're nice and benign on the limit if memory serves, which I would say can only be a good thing in a 911 (or indeed most cars!)
