Just thought I'd put a cross reference up on the chim forum for those that don't go to the general section.

2 of us booked already @ £199 if we can make 5 then theres a 10% discount to be had. Just mention TVR group when booking.

Thread here;

Unbelievably quiet.

I wonder what the reasons are?

I am doing Cadwell so can't justify time/money for this, sorry.
I have done Cadwell and back in a day twice now but you're another hour on from me, how about overnighting up there, you could meet us essex boys for brekkie on Sunday and trundle up with us. We stay 2 nights to allow for a debrief in the pub afterwards.

In an ideal world yes but.......work/cost, etc, etc.

I will do it again but as great as the track is, considering the effort to be there, I was dissapointed as to the amount of track time, (just a little moan).

maybe next year..........

OT but I seem to be out of the loop somewhat. Peter, are you taking your new toy or are you still using the 'old' car? How's the new purchase going?

The yellow wedge is in bits.....trying to find the elusive water leak once and for all. needs a new valley gasket anyway. looks like the leak was from the new thermostat housing that I put on after the second attempt to fix it !

and going away on hols on 7th so missus probably wouldn't let me do it anyway.
hope you have fun,
Geoff.

Taking old.

New is still being "debriefed"!

I am doing both in my 5 litre Chim, and live close-ish to Cadwell.

There will be 50+ TVRs on track at Cadwell, plus others attending for the buzz, but Peter is correct, the track time is 7 x 20 minute sessions in a full day. Fine if you like blagging rides, not so hot if all you want to do is drive.

But the point of the TVRCC day is the craic. Book a different one if all you want to do is drive all day.

Quite a number are staying over in a B&B Louth Sunday night, 5 miles from the track. Others are camping. If anyone coming a long way wants to stay at mine either side let me know. I am 40 miles from the track, on the way from down south, and have spare rooms available. I am close to Newark, so just under an hour's drive on Monday morning..

Nice idea Daz, but I doubt you could handle the power (or torque) wink
