Sagaris Rad replacement recomendations

I'd be talking to Darren at Radtec. Owner of a gorgeous Cerbera that was on the TVRCC stand at the NEC Classic Car show last year.

I've got one in my Griffith and the car is definitely running cooler than previously.

Hi Paul,
Thinking the standard size rads, whatever material they are made from, struggle to exchange enough heat for a SP6 I'd be tempted to increase the core size so the earlier post with the web link helps. Does the LS run hot in yours? Getting ready to do one in a Tuscan and on the list is plenty of cooling.

Hello,
Nether had a problem with the heat from the LS in the Sagaris, the holes I have on the front were worth a degree, the car runs at about 89 - 90, the highest I have seen it was 95. I had a radtec radiator in it from about three years ago so I am guessing they all better now.
Thanks all for the advice.

Our T350 radiator became porous in both tanks, literally coolant was seeping thru the skin like a colander, this on an aluminum rad that was perhaps 4 years old. Basically whoever installed the unit failed to supply a suitable earth which lead to chronic electrolysis, pages about it on the web, plastic bodied cars are obviously particularly vulnerable.
I looked at what was commercially available and was left unimpressed, clumsy basic design, not particularly well fabricated and how does a supplier justify producing a replacement radiator without a drain and substituting an 8mm button head screw in place of a correct bleed valve ??
Without doubt I`d go for a custom unit, there are many fine aluminum fabricators out there that can supply an upgraded product to suit your application.
