I don't post often, especially in this section, mainly because I'm unqualified to give advice. I do, however, lurk and learn.

My fifteen year old Marantz AV amp recently showing signs of wear and tear so it was time to shift it into the garage and upgrade the living room. After scanning through comments on various threads here I picked up an SR7007 from Superfi with a few hundred quid off. My ears are no longer sharp enough for it to be worthwhile going for anything better, but I was still amazed by the difference in the quality of sound produced. It also reduced my cabling by allowing me to everything bar the BluRay picture through it. Now I'm seriously considering upgrading the BluRay to a UD7007. Any comments? Also, I run AE front and centre and Celestion rears and I'm also considering a Sub as these really weren't common when I last upgraded. When I bought the AEs they were bassy enough to rattle the windows, but I've upgraded the glazing since.
