Brothers.
Picked the cerb up from S
horpe after winning the bid on eBay. The car is stunning inside and out, and I am extremely pleased (respect Chilliman)
A couple of small issues so here goes and hope someone can help. Anyone know a good reliable mechanic in Liverpool? I have a vibration when accelerating (reverberation) through the whole car around 30 then disappears? I hope it's exhaust in contact with chassis, and finally are all Cerbs heavy when manoeuvring slowly? Or do I have a power steering problem? Other than that all superb. Hope someone can give me some advice.
Many thanks

Mine is heavy compared to most normal cars at carpark speeds. I quite like the heavy steering. It's light enough to get the lock on quick should you need it, but heavy enough to give a confident and fairly honest feel when on the move.
You should take the car to a good specialist for a going over to look at your exhaust and give you a headsup on what work needs doing next
When was it's last proper 12k service?

Thanks Jamie I am at present looking for a reputable garage. Not sure about service but will start from nowYou should take the car to a good specialist for a going over to look at your exhaust and give you a headsup on what work needs doing next
When was it's last proper 12k service?A pal of mine uses a specialist in the Lakes to maintain his Tuscan. There are good places in the Midlands too. It's worth travelling a few miles to someone who really knows these cars rather than someone good but more general. The specialists will usually nail niggles and running problems first time and a relationship with them is handy too. They've also often either got the parts or know exactly what they need unlike general mechanics who need to find out what kind of Citreon a particular widget csme from
Importantly though, how are you finding the car overall? Does it put a smile on your face like the bikes must?

Good advice thank you. Can't stop looking at it. I didn't think a car would excite me like riding my Harley, but have to admit my grin has not faded yet. I find the ride (as I do the Harley) very mechanical. It's certainly a car that you have to drive and not sit back and be a passenger. Love the solidness and awesome sound. I have been in touch with a guy who is local and used to work on tvr's lotus and Porsche who has agreed to take her out for a road test and let me know what he thinks. Hey Blackpool is only up the road. Will let you know the outcome
