Anyone going? I like these, because it's just enough time on track, I find a full day a bit much (and judging by the number of people who leave mid-afternoon, I'm not alone.)

Looks to be fully booked which is a shame, it would have been good fun on my birthday smile

I'll be there, look out for a techno violet e36 m3 evo. I have to agree with the full day being a little much, the cooler evenings over the summer ensure the tyres don't go off so quickly (federal RSRs).

Anyone else going? We should put together a roll call.

I'm going with my brother bright blue Clio 197 for him and Stilo Abarth (hopefully with new EBC stoppers if the postman arrives tomorrow) for me - see you there

Subject to us confirming our new track toy (Clio 182) isn't too loud, we should be there tomorrow. Slightly worried as it isn't quiet!

Free iPhone app Decibel 10th.
Hold phone half a meter up, back and to the right of the exhaust, rev to 4500 rpm.
Be very surprised if over 101dB. My TVR was under 96 until I decatted it.

Well, as of 10:05 on the 30th, the Westfield is still at the menders. frown

They promise faithfully it will be ready in time. I shan't hold my breath, because dying of asphyxiation is not how I intend to leave this world.

Excellent evening, got Westie back in time, it ran faultlessly all evening. Which is more than can be said for the GoPro which shot not one single frame of video. Almost certainly operator error. High point of the evening; a pax ride in the McLaren. Holy sh!t, that thing is quick. 158mph down the back straight. A zillion thanks to the chaps from EVO for that.

Your Stilo Abarth sounded great and was quick. Quite a Q car!

Hello, new to all this. I went to this track evening too. I was in the red type r, my mate was the one who set his breaks on fire smile.
I got one shakey vid onto YouTube. Has anyone else managed to get any decent videos of the evening?

I was behind you for a few laps and at one point as we braked hard to join the long straight there were bright sparks coming off both front brakes, which was very impressive!

He must have been using a very unusual line if you coud see both front brakes in the corners laugh
