Cars not going to be ready in time

I have had a quick look around about hiring a car, but even then I would not be 'able' to track it.

Does anyone know anywhere which hires cars for tracks ?

If by the end of today I have nothing sorted then I will unfortunatley have to withdraw (Craig, I will let you know either way by 4pm).

Yours sincerely,

A gutted Hobo.

Rods,

Cheers for mail.

Not quite the same though, going as a passenger.

Wanting to have a blast against that bunch of cars, and also see how the 350 handled at 'speed', as never had it on a track yet.

I am still looking/considering a hire car, but will let yourself, MOD, Craigw all know by end of today.

Hobo, fear not, kind sir.

Feel free to come down in the back of my car (illegally) or Martyn's (legally) and once there, you can do a few runs in the beetle.

After all, it has been akin to something of 'The Whore of Brunters' previously so I see little reason to feign any virtue on it's miserable repute now.

Chin, chin,

DeR.

Der, did I read that right ?

You would pass the keys of your pride & joy to someone you have never met ? You are indeed a true gent (or slightly barking).

I really, really, want to go, as its not everyday a collection of cars of this quality appear together.

Once again, thanks for the offer, and I shall let you know a.s.a.p.

Definately beats the last 'pool car' I drove.

One of those Vauxhall Nova saloon thingies about 15 years ago.

Right, not chance of me getting a hire car, that is unless I want to shell out £1,000.

So Craig, unfortunately I will not be 'competing' in this years event (I have sent you an email to confirm this).

Hobo, can your dealer not sort something as they have let you down?

Fabulous turn of phrase there, Craig!

Indeed, he even let me take it for a spin.

Literally.

I see the TVR dealer network still holds customer expectation paramount.

Poor form on the whole.

I cannot run my car either due to insurance... but I am mainly going to catch up with existing friends and meet new ones, all made through the power of P.Heads!

The fact that there are cars there going like the clappers and I might get a ride in a few is a definate bonus don't get me wrong, but you'd still have a great day even without your own car.

Try and make it if you can Mark

I'm running without insurance. Vmax isn't exactly as risky track day IMHO.
