Do yellow calipers mean pccb?

Looking at a gen 2 997 non-s which has yellow calipers in the photos but doesnt list pccb in the options. Was there a coloured caliper option with the normal brakes?

Not a standard option but maybe from the 'personalisation' dept at huge cost.
I'd say they are either PCCBs, or someone has just painted the calipers to look like it has them.
If you can see the disks close up it's quite easy to tell.

doubt anyone would bother retrofit for that model.

They swap out the PCCB for Alcons at a guess.

So big yellow calipers and steel disks.

Most cars sold by them are like this I have noticed.

On the cayman is a massive advantage to have the PCCB calipers as they are much larger.

I reckon Mr Demon is right Its probably an Alcon conversion on a previously PCCB equipped car

If its a JZM car you will have nothing to worry about. Have nothing but praise for them

I have yellow non PCCB callipers on my 6RS. JZM conversion as stated above.

Most cars that JZM have done this swap on come with the original PCCB Discs still with the car.
Nothing wrong with the conversion but really only worthwhile for a car thats tracked regularly.

From the photos those disks don't look like ceramics to me. They look steel.

There are a few non-S gen 2 cars around for 35-40k, but all the main dealer ones are about 10k more - do they discount heavily on sticker prices?
