Well I haven't made as much progress as I would have liked due to work pressures and have now given up on any thoughts of getting my Vixen roadworthy for the summer. On a more positive note I have this afternoon fitted the windscreen, which for me was a very very scary job! Yet to fit the locking strip and will tackle that job tomorrow. I am also half way through fitting the headlining and thought I would pop the screen in to lock in the front of the lining. took much longer than I thought it would and my fingers are very sore!

Moto sent me a sample of the lining he used (thanks Steve) and I'm very pleased with the quality of the material. My daughter sowed the pockets into the lining to take the supports - bless her! I think sowing straight lines in the vinyl was harder than we both thought it would be. There are a few little wrinkles to pull out to the side and back but I think it will be ok. I won't get a job at Crew trimmimg out Bentleys but I quite like the home-made feel!

Very well done that looks great and nice to have your Daughter involved did you put some sealer around as well as they can leak even with the locking strip.
