The long forgotten protein
Just been doing some research on this and as it's dirt cheap - 20p per 100g; I plan on buying some for my meals.
Nutritional value for green lentils are about 24g of protein per 100g (according to bodybuilding forum).
Only information i can't find is how much is too much?
200g a day sound like too much or is that fine?
Edit: Asda's nutrition list

Low biological value. Leucine and Isoleucine content is low. Should be eaten as part of a balanced diet. As good as any other legumes really, which means good especially if you were to mix lentils with other legumes like red kidney beans, soy bean and lima beans in your balanced diet.
