screw in wheel assembly aid - where can i get one?

Just changed the wheel on my (new to me) 987.2.
Bloody screw caused a puncture on almost new rear.

Tool kit no longer includes the 'screw in wheel assembly aid'. Thats P language for the wheel locator rod to avoid damage to the calliper paint when fitting.

Any source for these or is it a trip to the OPC parts centre?

Oh, i used a sealing bottle from Halfords and it just came out the small hole, never hardened. Had to remove the wheel and drive it to tyre shop. I guess the P bottle works a lot better.
Better hope so if you are stuck miles from anywhere

I wouldn't bet on the Porsche sealant working any better, all those things are hit and miss at best.

Second thanks Mike !! Great timing for this thread.

Two ordered last week, picked up Friday. Despite the OPC clowns denying all knowledge of such a contrivance and making me feel a fool when I asked for such. Mandatory to eliminate all risk of chipping the PCCBs when getting wheels on and off. Had been using the plastic one that came with my RS6. Surprised you don’t get at least one with a new car (Cayenne).
