Porsche Show - Gaydon 8th September

Just heard about it today, so I'm trying to find out a little more about it. Anyone been to one of these before?

If that's the TIPEC show they are generally pretty good fun and a good turnout. Sean Smallman is the TiPEC guy to contact, not sure if he's on here but definitely on 911uk and the TIPEC site. Only issue this year is a clash with Classics at the Castle on the same day, otherwise I would have been going.

Wow - what's the deal with the test track drive? How do I get a space?

I will be there, and a few of us from 911UK. Usually a good show.

Ok just been told people are asking questions! I'm doing a lot of the Sunday organisation (Jim Hearnden) Sean is running Sats events.

Saturday: So there is a cream tea run on Sat 7th Starting at 10:00 from Gaydon with a Bacon Butty. Then around 100 miles of driving around the area with some great roads. Then return to Gaydon & Cream tea! In the evening is a BBQ, dancing to a live band.

Sunday: is the show, we have all the above PLUS the Porsche UK display wagon, win a Boxster for the weekend raffle & stop press, just booked a proper F1 simulator with all revenue from the sim going to charity. You can book track laps prior to the event at £10 per session, they'll run at these times

10:00 is already booked but we;ll take later bookings on the day at the club marquee. Each session is £10 which will give you laps of the Gaydon JLR test track which is pretty fast & open. We'll also have discounted entry tickets for the museum as well on sale for £6. There will be a Meguiars sponsored Show N Shine as well.

I have but not to hand from my ageing brain cells & quite a lot are still sorting out bookings but: Meguiars, Porsche Shop, Dove House Motors, Porsche Callipers & Hamilton Classics. I'll sort a list & update it later. We have Auto jumble slots for those who want one, we have a few booked.

Any more coming Sunday, the forecast looks pretty good! Unfortunately the Stormtroopers have been called to a Galaxy far, far way but they've asked the Stig to stand in for them!

We have a Dent specialist coming, so you'll be able to get rid of those annoying parking dings. Raffle on the day, win a Porsche Boxster for the weekend.
