Any other PH'ers do this today?

55 mile ride from seahouses to South Shields, I managed 2 hours 51 mins at 19.5mph average, aiming for under 2:45 next year!

Yep , good day . A couple of others off here did it as well.

2hr 35min . @ 33.1kph . Was chuffed with that .

Yep I did it, that bit in the middle on the main road was a bit hairy, and the backstreets of Blyth were well dodgy.
Took the hybrid not the road bike and glad I did as was rough in places.

55miles in 3hrs 30 mins - great event and will do it again

Thought id search for an existing topic on this rather than create a new one!

Anyone planning on riding this year? Ive just signed up last night. Did it last year for the first time on a single speed (never again) took me about 3hr 45.

Im going to pick my new CX bike up on Friday, Cannondale CAADx Sora! going to be using it for a mix of big rides and the commute to work so figured it would be a good choice based on the riding ill be doing

Could have fancied it but its a week before a 70.3 triathlon so probably not a good idea.
