Vmax Trophy

Was just thinking, would it be a good/bad idea for their to be an awarded, presented on the day, for the car/owner who goes the quickest ?

As most of the faster cars/owners seem to be regulars, getting the trophy back each time would not be a problem.

You could get it engraved each event with the car, owner name & max speed, and therefore give everyone a bit of something to 'play' for.

What do you reckon ?

Some of the participants are Northern.

It'll be melted down and turned into identity bracelets before you can say "Jewellery jewellery".

Thing is hobo, some people go there for the day to drive their car flat out down a straight and have a good chat with friends etc.

Take my missus' car. She hasn't got a cat in hells chance of winning a trophy for fastest car of the day (165 flat out) but she still has a great time, and we both look forward to the days immensely.

Theres probably about 6 cars there that will be vying for fastest on the day. Those are regulars, yes, but I think theres more to the day than that.
