Shame the engine has been taken out, it was rumoured to have a 5.5 L special engine. Whilst it was in London in 1993 i drove it and it was ******* Fast.

hmm .. if it's anything like the development chimaera I saw a while back it could be a long and painful restoration .. I told the person who bought that to take it right back and get their money back! .. hope this Griff is better, but minus engine and box what's it's value?

.. you'll pay at least 3k for a tvr 5 litre engine and 500 for the gearbox, then there's all the other bits .. plus fitting so maybe 5k for the car tops? .. would make a good race project for the Challenge series though if you could get it cheaper than that even

Looks like body work damage too, re: the Passenger side light pod.

At the right price though it could be a nice Car to have with its history.

After all the moaning people have done in the past about
TVR Prototypes/ Test vehicles going in the Skip lets hope someone does buy it.

On second thoughts, maybe it's just the light.

I have seen this car a few weeks ago, and it needs a fair bit of work doing to it.

It has damage to the rear as well as the front, and the interior trim was poor.

But it does come with an oil painting of the car which hung in the reception at the factory.
