are you hydrated
Discussion
When your dehydrated arent you supposed to feel thirsty? I ask because my wees always dark and i only go 3-4 times a day but im never thirsty nor do i have huge food cravings. I am however rather tired considering im a young male.
Either way im going to start drinking more but could the last of thirst be because ive been chronically dehydrated for so long?

I don't trust that colour chart. It's missing "Berocca Orange", for starters.
OP, you almost certainly are drinking enough water, simply because you are still here to post. You could try drinking a bit more fluid and see if the colour changes. Don't worry yourself into a "Leah Betts", mind.

You should drink more water, forget Gucci drinks.
t though so going to drink more to see if i become less tired.Your pee should be as clear as tap water at all times especially if you train, any % of dehydration will leave you feeling tired and you will not perform to your Max, get water down your neck, keep your pee clear and see if you feel better in a few days.
Not everyone is very good at feeling/recognising thirst - lots of people mistake it for hunger, that's easily done, and some don't notice/feel (not sure which) it at all, even otherwise in good health etc.
If your pee is dark, you need to drink more water. If your pee is dark AND you're drinking at least a litre and a half a day (of anything), assuming you're not losing buckets of fluid through sweat, then you need to check in with your doctor in case something weird is going on.

You really don't need a litre and a half of water a day. It's oft-repeated rubbish based on a complete misunderstanding of some sweat volume research. And probably a desire to flog bottled water or worse in the gyms.
No you don't, you do however need an intake of water from all sources of 2 -3 litres a day... when engaged in sedentary activities in a temperate environment - increasing activity or extremes of temeprature increase the need for fluid intake to match increased excretionmany people are borderline dehydrated ...

as usual Becca has provided a concise and accurate summary . If your pee is dark, you need to drink more water. Indeed. Which is why I carefully didn't say water, and I also didn't say the oft-parroted 2 litres.
Assuming the guy doesn't consume his total daily calorie need in lettuce, he probably does need to drink in the region of 1 to 2 litres of fluids a day. If he's very active or works somewhere hot it's probably a bit more.
