Evo triangle great route and much quieter than I expected . Saw a couple of 7's having some fun apart from that I was on my own:-) ! The police are over zealous thing seems a bit of a myth too ! Drove all the recommended routes and no BIB in sight . Would highly recommend it !!! AutoAndy said:

Also just clocked about 500 miles over the weekend driving from south Birmingham to Redhill, then to Brighton for the day, back to Redhill, back to South Brum.
Several times before setting off i kept pumping directions on google maps and the sat nav. My 1st destination of Redhill was telling me 2hr 10mins which of course was sending me M40 Banbury/Oxford and M25. Well my opinion is motorway driving is not what or why i brought a TVR for but every time i pumped in (No motorways) it was telling me 3hr.59 mins.
It was starring me in the face over and over again 2hrs motorway, 4 hr A/B roads. I'm convinced I made the right decision avoiding Motorways both ways driving on some beautiful roads and passing lovely little places such Henley on Thames. But I'm also surprised in not seeing a single TVR going across country and in the drivers seat for about 11-12 hrs.
Must of seen 50 odd Porsche, 2 lambo, few Aston's ( 1 broke down which looked like being helped from Ferrari) Even broke down it looked beautiful,I passed quite quickly but may of been a DB6 convertible dark blue. The list could go on and on of beautiful cars I noticed but NO TVR and No one spotted me either
If a meeting is taking place then sure you will find, but 1700 recent miles in mine and I've spotted just 1 Cerb under normal driving circumstances.
But I am one of many taking part in the Thunder in the Tunnels 28th Sept
So this will defiantly make up for my lack of spots.
