Leaving present company advice
Discussion
Been with my present company for around 10 months and in that time i have only received my contract last month. I'm going to return to my previous employer who i was with for 15 years (Self employed).
Now i have not signed and sent back my contract so do i have to see out a full month's notice or will a few weeks suffice.
I work on a basic plus bonus and lately have been finding my bonus cut here and there so i feel i don't owe them nothing in return.

When you were self employed, how many other customers did you deal with on a regular basis?
Just contracting. Also when my accountant retired, for several years i submitted my accounts direct to the Inland Revenue so i'm sure if they were happy. You can now sleep easy your work is done here. When you were self employed, how many other customers did you deal with on a regular basis?
I think you were probably lucky. Since the advent of Self Assessment in 1995, HMRC have been failing to spot "employees" wrongly categorised as "self employed". The data supplied in Self Assessment tax returns is not good enough to highlight this issue.
In years prior to 1995 they were much more switched on to this.
