I have finally found an Elise.....

I am absolutley over the moon, it is a one owner car with fully documented 49,000 miles from new. I pick it up on Tuesday which has to be the longest 4 days of my life...

Bring on Le Mans 05 for some hooning at the roundabout...

Nice one.

Top colour choice as well.

Take it nice and easy to start off with in these weather conditions. The urge to give it some stick can prove owerwhelming at times.

Enjoy

I remember the first time I took my car to see an old girlfriend and her husband for the weekend. We went out for a blast in the car and I thought I'd do a standing start to scare her. It was quite wet but I thought "there's no way I can do any damage in a straight lie"... As I changed from 2nd to 3rd I managed to get the car about 30degrees off centre just by unbalancing the car! Suffice to say I slowed down after that!

Nice !

Let the modifying begin!

My Elise was standard once upon a time.

You just need to update your profile now.

Thats anice car you have there. Do you mind me asking how much you paid for her?

That sounds very much like the Mr2 in the wet. Once the turbo kicked in it was twitchy. You could accelerate in third and when it hit 2750 rpm the rev counter would bounce on the limiter and the tyres spin.
It was possible to loose traction in 4th in a straight line. Like you said Alunr it makes you slow down.

Thanks for all the words of encouragement.. anyone know how to speed up time.......

I will try to be careful, the only other Elise I have driven was around Hethel.... so the open road should be fun...

Profile will be adjusted....
