I was originally thinking about driving up and stopping overnight, but a lack of appropriate childcare and time mean that it will be a day visit only.

If I am just visiting for the day, do I need a pass to park the TVR in the display/owners area on the prom'?

What time would I need to be in Blackpool by, on either Saturday or Sunday to be able to park in the display area?

Is there a schedule or list of activities for the two days so I know what else is happening?

Is there charge for a day visit, or a need to book in advance?

Thanks...

I'm coming. Hoping to be in the S, but it currently prefers being a kettle to a car so whether I am in that or the MG depends on whether I can get to the bottom of that before the date. Fingers crossed for this weekends work!!!

I'll be there for a couple of hours on the Saturday morning, before heading down to London early Saturday afternoon, but I'll be back so probably on the Prom from mid morning Sunday.

Unfortunately I've not had time to get the S sorted and MOTed, so I might have to finally go on the new trams we have here in Blackpool.

I would have been up for a get together if id been available for the Saturday night.

Just a warning that Blackpool Prom get get very busy, especially if the weather is nice. So you may get stuck in stationary/very slow moving traffic, so make sure that your cooling systems are working Ok.

Hi All,

There will be a charge of £5 for parking on the lower prom with all the other TVR's. All parking fees will be donated to the adopted charity,Derian house childrens hospice.
The £5 covers both days. If you are staying at the De Vere you can buy your ticket there when you arrive which will help to reduce queues on the day.
I hope to see you all there on one of the two days!

Hi

I will be going, as I offered to do a bit of marshalling, not as S owner anymore, as per the original post, but a Chim owner now.

Current weather on the Fylde coast is dry but overcast.

Weather for tomorrow seems to be showing as dry with some sun but a possible shower around late morning/lunchtime.

Sunday looks like it could be showers throughout the day and strong winds
