VTS problems

I keep getting false alarms on my VTS tracker .

Its fine in day to day use but park the car for a week and the first time i use it after the lay up the tracker and fob dont register each other and hey ho , call from Cobra .

I have changed the batteries in the fobs and Cobra say theres nothing wrong with the unit ( after a notional remote diagnostic check ) .

Any ideas , anyone experienced the same thing ?

I have booked it in to the OPC but the first slot with a service car was end of September and i am getting fed up with the false alarms and unless they keep it for a week or more i dont think the fault will show up ..

Explain the fault to Cobra and then ring them when you are about to replicate the fault i.e. just about to get into car after a lay up. They should see from their end which of the fobs is dodgy if any or point you or the dealer in the right direction.
