Seeing as both cars (used) are very similarly priced and I am thinking of changing, besides the roof difference would anyone who ahs driven both have any comments to make?

The power of the S is enticing, having previously had a Cerb SS, and I also prefer the lok of the S to the standard Tuscan, but overall prefer the look of the 350.

Any comments gratefully received, thanks.

Drive em both and see which you prefer?

I love all TVRs...its a really difficult choice...but went with the Tuscan, mainly because of the roof off option - 2 cars in one.

First tried the 350, was impressed by the handling but found it a bit cramped and was not over-awed by the 3.6 engine for day to day driving (needs lots of revs). If I was going to use on the track a bit then the 350 would be first choice.
Next I tried a Tuscan S. Gobsmacked. More comfortable, nearly as good handling, stonking engine. The standard Tuscans handling is noticable worse.

If you can find a T350 with the S engine and are unconcerned with the extra space in the Tuscan, go for it!

tested the Tuscan- loved it
tested the 350 - loved it more
tested the Tuscan S-bought it

why

space, pace and the mutant UFO mated with a Shark looks

on handling i had the 350 ahead of the S which was more settled than the Tuscan( suspension was modified apparently)

engine just gets better and better.( wait for the trolls )thought it was good then Martin and the lads at Barnet tuned it while they looked after it during my holiday, now really excellent.

thought the 350 a little cramped as well-although I had traded up from an Elise so I am being picky.

try them both in the happy knowledge that you can't really go wrong, either of them are so cool you'll get frostbiten every day.

Really depends on what you want to do with your TVR
look at it or drive it

I dont want to put you off but the tuscan was originally going to be called the tvr tankslapper.

sorry

Make sure you don't just make your mind up on one of each, either, unless they're the specific cars you're thinking of buying (rather than just examples of the model)... it's easy to get one with a bad set-up that could put you off the entire model...

No doubt if you have fitted Nitrons or something there probably isnt much in it, but I swear that the S feels a lot safer (better brakes too). Maybe I tried a bad un.
Nice to hear there is another Tusc in the 'hood. Dont see many around.
