Hi,
Still trying to find my first Cerb. Was wondering if anyone knew anything about 2 of the cars listed on the PH classified. One is 96 Silver Cerb with james agger second one is paradise purple 98 car private sale in essex.
Any info would be great. Just trying to do my homework before I travel to view as I am in Scotland.
Thanks

Anything with Mr Agger is worth a visit, as from all accounts he's a top bloke.

However if you were thinking about a car that far away, rather than visit, get in inspected then return to pick it up, I'd advise asking Rob Ingleby to inspect it after you've ascertained (and are happy with) some details from the seller.

I just did this with my Cerbera, it fit all my criteria so I asked Rob to check it out and with the details and inspection he did purchased blind. Has all worked very well and Rob has exceptional bargaining powers paying for his services very quickly

This way you'll also avoid any impulse if the car is a real dog, as he speaks from his head rather than a potential buyer with rose-tinted specs.

Echo the comment about James- bought my 99 4.2 from him a year ago, which was my first TVR and v happy. Joolz at Joospeed usually checks them over for him and he usually only buys cars to sell that he knows. Had the usual things to deal with on mine that you wld expect on a 20k mile Cerb - Starter Motor and Clutch but the warranty that James supplied with the car covered both with no hassle so no worries there and have been very happy with the post sales support he has given me - he's always happy to take a call and advise if you have an issue. Feel very happy to recommend him.

Rob Ingleby gets the from me too.

My only gripe with James Aggar is that the bugger sold the Cerb I was interested in the week I sold my Griff , but up to that point he seemed a top bloke

Scotland? I presume you've tried all the 'usual suspects' North of the Border (and near it) for cars before travelling too far. By that I mean speaking with Glenvarigill (St Andrews), Dreadnought (Callendar), V8 Sports & Classics (Drem), Alan MacDonald (Whitecraigs) and even HHC (Hexham). Also, post a note on the TVRCC Scotland newsgroup. It's a pretty small world in TVR-land in Scotland, and the folks I've mentioned will know most of what's for sale in Scotland...and its history! You might find a local car to fit your needs.

All I have to say is, call James , he's the best and look at this if it's in your budget.

Oh my God, what have I done?

Do it before I come to my senses.
