Will I die if I eat this pate ?????

I've just cleared out my mobile home ready to sell it. Tucked away all nice and safely in the corner of a cupboard I found a pack of six jars of quite posh pate that I bought in France that are dated 2015 - but .....
The last time I visited France was well over 18 months ago - so the jars have been hidden away in there for 2 bad winters and would have undoubtedly got frozen (several times over!) and in the summer the temps get pretty high in a locked up vehicle!
So should I bin them or eat them?

Eat em, if they state refridgerate after opening then they are fine in warm/cold temps as long as they aint opened. Main thing to check - the air seal/lid popper.

The quality might be affected but you shouldnt get poisoned.

Why don't you get a guinea pig and actually use it for it's intended purpose?

The potted pâté is unlikely to have any influence on when; it's in jars to preserve it.

Well I had the wild boar & chestnut about 3 hours ago and no ill effects so far.
But if I have the squirts in the morning I won't know if it was the pate or the curry and beers I've had since
