Evening all, now all the welding is done and my Propshaft re balanced I decided to remove my gearbox mount as per photos. It looks possible it could be original.
When replacing my Propshaft I noticed the gearbox seemed to move alot on its mount, I can't say it looks perished or split so could it be just tired?
I don't get any clutch judder.

Can you please advise as to where to purchase a replacement and what car it originated?

Thanks all

Paul

That looks the same as the one on the S3. I took my old one into a Ford main dealer and matched it up with one on there computer. If I recall correctly I think it was listed for a Ford Transit.

Could be worth a try.

This is what you want but price seems a bit higher than "usual" although being genuine Ford part it may be better quality than some of the cheap/rubbish/poor quality after market copies out there?

Loads of advice and suggestions out there if you search tvr s series gearbox mounting smile

I found this old post which mentions southwalespeops at bottom of page, Quinton and Hazell part.
The ford one does seem expensive but like you say it's genuine.
I still can't make my mind up if mine needs replacing or not!

Been using Mercury Motors since I was a teenager (30+years) still have parts for many old fords

Call me soft but a big thank you to my lovely Girlfriend for helping with all the past weeks work, passing me various tools, jacking up the exhaust whilst I located all the bolts, she even had a go at welding (not on the chassis).
Any help that helps my back is much appreciated.
