Nowp! Even if I don't get chance to take mine out,
I'll pretend to the misses I need to start it every couple of days just to give it a rev!
Silly I know.. Your as sane as any true petrol head.
And that can't be a bad thing 😃

Not strange at all Rob. I only get mine out at the weekend usually and miss it during the week. Cant beat the roar, firm ride, strange looks and best of all the smile at the end of a run. each time i come back i say to the wife i love that car.

Rob - yes you are strange - but you're in good company. We're all "touched" here!

I've got back from holiday to get an MOT failure which means a bunch of work so no wedge for 3 weeks. Apart from the drive to/from the MOT place. Shoulda gone the long way...

Try running around the house splashing water in your face and going "brmmm brmmmm" at 113dB(A) it might alleviate the symptoms...

Tried that when delilah was away for two weeks..Its no good, All you will end up doing is crashing into the dining table and bashing ya shins as you try to swerve round the chairs...Ouch...smash..Even with 4-pot slippers...hehe

I got my new wedge yesterday dinner time.
I have managed about 100 miles and a breakdown.
My daughter begged me to go out for another ride this afternoon, every time I give it the beans she laughs uncontrollably (she is 8).

I think you are in good company with the strain of insanity in here.

You'd be safer sucking and blawing on your exhaust pipe Zig, you wont be arrested for that.

Hi Rob

Be Patient

I have just had a month without mine while the gearbox was out and being refurbed.
I was lost and walking round like I had lost a family member

Was well worth the wait tho' and the new clutch and gearbox feel great to use now

Also had a new sender fitted for the petrol tank - so now can see how much fuel I have used eek

It will all be worth the wait (and hope you get it back before the snow comes!!! ha ha)

Cheers
Rich

Hi Adam not yet mate, I popped over today to see how things are progressing, the intercooler is in plus most of the pluming to say things are tight is an understatement!! They have managed to thread the intercooler piping through a given path so that bit is done... The guys are fabricating a new plenum at the moment then things can be buttoned up and run to see if we have a measured drop in the inlet temperature, if we achieve that I can then give Shaun a buzz to finish the mapping !! The boost gauge is fitted so more or less there all be it for the plenum .
